Uniforms: Black team shirt, black shorts, and white socks. Girls need to have a ponytail in their hair.

9:15 – 11:15 - will be rooms 162am, 164am, 111, 112, 114, 115, 211, 212, 214, and 215, 224, and 225
1:00 – 3:00 - will be rooms 162pm, 164pm, 101, 102, 104. 105, 221, 222, 201, 202, 204, and 205
Providing children with successful and enjoyable movement experiences are two of the primary goals of Physical Education throughout the year, and it is our aim to conduct an experience for the children of Helen Baller which will reinforce and highlight our efforts. We would like to share this experience with you at Helen Baller’s, Field of Fitness Day!
Field Day consists of the children participating in a number of individual and dual events with pre-determined standards. There are no team events; thus each child is rewarded for his or her best effort.
In selecting the events for Field Day, we include both athletic and fun types of events in an attempt to provide every child with the possibility of doing well in a number of activities.
60 parent volunteers are needed to supervise each of the twenty-five events, thus allowing the classroom teachers to share in the performances of the children which would frequently involve being asked to listen to a child’s description of his or her accomplishments in a particular event. If you are willing and able to come to our Field of Fitness Day, please be sure to sign the volunteer form and return it to school. PLEASE PLAN TO COME TO SCHOOL AND HELP MAKE THIS EVENT A SUCCESS!
